This newsletter the SPCA hero we would like to acknowledge is actually a Volunteer.
A Volunteer who has been volunteering for nearly 10 years and coming for more than 7 years every Tuesday and Thursday to walk the animals.
She has given not only of her time but her compassion, empathy and enthusiasm. Sharon Petzer is one of The Kloof and Highway SPCA’s most loyal supporters and she and her husband Keith have been instrumental in confirming that The Kloof and Highway SPCA goes the extra mile. The difference Sharon and her dog walkers make to the lives of so many dogs while in our care is enormous. Running, walking, bathing and playing with the dogs, giving feedback to our staff and loving the dogs is what Sharon does. Sharon is a hero – selfless and a genuinely good person.
